Video - InEight Schedule - Project List

TRANSCRIPT

This video gives you an overview of the project list page.

When you first log in, the project list page opens.

This is where you can see a list of project workspaces and schedules you are working on.

This page includes a gantt chart that illustrates project work and time periods.

Click here, and you can create new workspaces and schedules.

If you select a schedule, you are able to.

Delete the schedule.

Copy the schedule.

Or move the schedule to a project workspace.

If the project workspace slash schedule name or schedule ID needs to be changed, just double click on the field and edit the entry as needed.

Then click off the field or hit enter to confirm the update to the field.

An important column on this page is scheduled time.

Click the arrow, a list of scheduled types are available in the drop down.

Every scheduled type has corresponding color scheme in the gantt chart.

The most important schedule type in the list is active baseline.

Active baselines are contractual schedule agreements between contractors and owners with infrequent changes.

And as such, the schedule is automatically locked and converted to a view only state.

So it is not able to be changed deleted, or moved unless its type is changed.

Here, you can see the lock symbol indicating the schedule is locked and in a view only state.

When you open the active baseline schedule, you can see a message here.

The view only state is applied to all views and impacts any functionality that involves the changing of the schedule data.

The risk register and manage review cycle views are also in a locked and view only state. But data can still be exported from the risk register.

Well, that's an overview of the project list page.

Thanks for watching.
