Schedule 25.7 Release Notes

  • SIP step progress tracking - In SIP view, new columns have been added that let you track progress in the SIP step with added flexibility to align with your business processes. ClosedRead more

    The SIP Units column has been renamed SIP Planned Units/Qty. New columns have been added to the column chooser for SIP Actual Units/Qty, SIP Remaining Units/Qty, SIP At Complete Units/Qty, SIP Units/Qty % Complete, and SIP Duration % Complete that you can use to track progress for the resource in the SIP step.

    Print settings templates

    The histogram has also been updated to show the SIP Actual Units/Qty and SIP Remaining Units/Qty columns when selected in View options.

    Values can be edited directly in the selected step and depending on the field that is updated, values are calculated as follows:

    • SIP Planned Units/Qty – Values entered are spread evenly across all days.

    • SIP Actual Units/Qty – Values entered are spread evenly across all days prior to current day.

    • SIP Remaining Units/Qty – Values entered are spread evenly across days after current day.

    • SIP At Complete Units/Qty – Shows the value entered. Use to adjust for a forecast that is greater than the budgeted value in SIP Planned Units/Qty.

    • SIP Units/Qty % Complete – Updates both actual and remaining units. The percentage shown is value of (SIP Planned Units/Qty - SIP Remaining Units/Qty) ÷ SIP Planned Units/Qty.

    • SIP Duration % Complete – Shows the percentage calculated value of the number of SIP dates prior to current day ÷ total number of SIP steps.

    You have the option to also track actuals at a more granular level if needed. Click the Add SIP resource icon and enter values for the specific dates.

  • Moved SIP step actions icons – To improve performance, the icons for Add step, Zoom to start, Add comment, Add SIP resource, and Remove step have been moved to the top toolbar. Previously, these icons showed within the individual rows in the schedule grid. ClosedRead more

    The icons only show enabled in the toolbar when the action is allowed. For example, the Add comment, Add SIP resource, and Remove step icons only show enabled when you are in a step.

    Baseline and Snapshot print settings

  • Project List columns – New columns for Created Date, Created By, Modified Date, and Modified By have been added to the schedules that show on the Project list page.

  • Risk Register column maximum characters – In Risk Register > Project Register Events, the maximum allowed characters in the Mitigation and Text UDF fields has been increased from 250 to 4000.
