Welcome to InEight Contract. In this video, you'll learn how to create bid package type configuration setups in Contract. The bid package configurations are used to help your organization define what fields they want users to be needed to fill out or not to fill out. Under organization settings for contract, move to configurations, and then bid package type configuration set up.

Within each bid package type, you can review all the fields that are in the bid package, such as description and discipline. You can enable or disable the contract header fields, require which ones need to be filled out for the workflow and, configure what is needed for converting a bid package to a contract. So let you specify by bid package type, which types of contracts are for conversion. If at any point you no longer want to allow that contract type, you can click the X to remove it as an option for future bid package conversions.
