InEight Explore Integration

Powered by the data in Estimate (SaaS), Estimate integrates with InEight Explore to provide construction project dashboards with deep, interactive analysis across the entire InEight suite applications using custom visualizations, metrics, and KPIs.

You do not have to be signed into a project or assigned to a particular project to access Explore.

Explore is available to all users in an organization that have been assigned the applicable role or permissions and is a separate application from those used in any given project level.

To access Explore dashboards, click Main menu > Connected Analytics > Explore > Dashboards.

Estimate dashboard

To open the Estimate Dashboard, in the Dashboards tab, click the Estimate Dashboard in the Explore panel. You can search for Estimate dashboards using the field next to the filter drop-down list.

The Estimate Dashboard puts critical information on bids and opportunities in one place, enabling estimators to gain better visibility into the bids they have upcoming, helping them better manage their time and finish estimates when needed.

The Bid Summary tab, which is the primary default tab, also gives easy visibility into the latest bid results for recently bid projects and indicates bidding trends over time.

The Calendar tab provides a list view of bid events. You can view the list of events by Month, Week, Day, or List. To access the Calendar, click the Calendar tab at the bottom of the Bid Summary panel.

For more information about dashboards, see Standard Dashboards in Explore.

Explore Self-Service APIs

Explore provides a collection of self-service APIs and associated documentation for accessing your data through data compliant reporting solutions, such as Power BI or Microsoft Excel.

You can use self-service APIs to create your own custom reporting solutions to provide better insight into your business. Each self-service API comes with comprehensive documentation explaining what data is available, where it can be found in the application and examples of how it can be accessed.

To access the Explore API Generators, click the Main menu, and then in Connected Analytics, click Explore > API generator or API documentation.

For a current listing of Estimate APIs and InEight Explore API documentation, see API Documentation in Explore Resources.
