Output Change Details to Printed Reports
Using the Register Report feature on the PBS Changes Register, you can print reports of changes with as much or as little detail.
Print tab
When you first open the Budget / Contact Changes Report, the Print tab is the first to open. You can select the following options for the report:
- Print to Printer: creates a hard copy of the Budget / Contract Changes Report.
- Export to File: creates a digital file of the Budget / Contract Changes Report. This allows you to export as many different file types including PDF, XLSX, CSV, and more.
- Preview: creates a digital preview of the Budget / Contract Changes Report. The preview option allows you to print from the print preview data box once you have confirmed the output of the report.
Cost Item Selection tab
On the Cost Item Selection tab, you can select to:
- Print a contiguous range of cost items or
- Select cost items to print from the register displayed.
Details tab
The Details tab allows you to select specific information you want to include on the report. The options included are:
- Group and Sort: select if you want to organize your report rows by Approved Date, Pay Item, Tag, etc.
- Filters: select if you want to filter by Date Range, Status, or Type.
- Cost Categories: select the cost category you want to display. This can include Labor, Owned Equipment, Materials, and much more.
- Selected Columns: columns that display in the report.
Layout tab
The Layout tab provides you with the option to set the Orientation, Font, Number Format, and Margins of the report.
Header / Footer tab
The Header / Footer tab allows you to input the type of header and footer you prefer. You can add in a Page Header or on the first page a Report Header. You can also add a Report Footer, located on the last page only, or a Page Footer.
Printing reports
Step by Step — Printing Reports
- Select the Price tab.
- Under the Audit Log section, select PBS Changes.
- On the Activate PBS Changes Log? dialog, click Yes. The PBS Change Register opens.
- Select the row you prefer to change and then select the Actions tab.
- Select Open under the Edit section. The PBS Change Record for the previously selected row opens.
- Select the Execution tab.
- Under Reports and Exports, select Reports. The Budget / Contact Changes Report form should appear.
- Select your preferred settings for the report.
- Select Run to print the report.
