Track the Approval Status of Changes

For each change, you can record the following:

  • Change Date - to record the date when notice was given to the owner regarding the change.
  • Request Date - to record the date when a formal request was made to the owner for additional payment related to the change.
  • Answer Date - to record the date when an answer was received from the owner regarding the change.
  • Approved Amount - to record the amount of additional payment that was approved by the owner for the change.

Defining this data allows you to track each change record by filtering, sorting, or grouping changes by their status (pending, approved, etc.). In addition, for each change you can record up to three user-defined Tags to categorize, filter, sort, and group changes in virtually unlimited ways.

This data can be defined at the time the record shows after each change is made, or by opening the PBS Change Record to define the data.

Step by Step — Open the PBS Change Record

  1. Select the Price tab.
  2. Under the Audit Log section, select PBS Changes.
  3. On the Activate PBS Changes Log? dialog, click Yes. The PBS Change Register opens.
  4. Select the row you would like to change and then select the Actions tab.
  5. Select Open under the Edit section. The PBS Change Record for the previously selected row opens.
