Notes

On the cost item record’s Notes data block, you can enter any cost item-specific notes that provide instructions, parameters, or explanations such as in the following examples:

• For a Hauling cost item —  There should be very little waste. If so, we can spread it out in the right of way at MP 111

• For a Structural Excavation and Backfill item —  The backfill cannot be the native material. Must use clean base rock

• For an Underground Pipe cost item —  The average depth is close to 10 ft.

You can also use the Notes data block to reference cost item changes (e.g., changing shift arrangements, changing a resource rate).
