Welcome to InEight Estimate. In this video, we'll show you how simple it is to create a new job from scratch. A job folder contains pertinent information for a single project, and within that job folder is where the estimate and the management of your project is stored. To create a new job folder from scratch, go to the InEight Estimate Backstage View, and under the Create A New Job From...

Section, select Scratch or Select New, then choose the Scratch folder. A new job dialogue box appears. In the Code field, type in the name of the job. Here in the Description field, you can add a longer title if needed, or a description that helps you identify the project better and makes it easier to find the job.

And if you'd like to auto update the job in Connected Analytics, check this box. Click OK to create the new project, and that's how easy it is to create a new job in InEight Estimate.
