Video - InEight Estimate - Create a New Job

Welcome to InEight Estimate. In this video, we'll show you how simple it is to create a new job from scratch. A job folder contains pertinent information for a single estimate. And within that job folder is where the estimate and the management of your estimate is stored.

To create a new job folder from scratch, go to the InEight Estimate Backstage View. And under the "Create a New Job From" section, select Scratch... or select New, then choose the Scratch folder. A new job dialog box appears. Select a core project from the InEight Cloud Platform. In the Code field, personalize the name for the job. Here, in the Description field, you can add a longer title if needed, or a description that helps you identify the estimate better, and makes it easier to find the job. And if you'd like to "Auto Update the Job in Connected Analytics", check this box. Click OK to create the new estimate.

And that's how easy it is to create a new job that's connected to a core project in InEight Estimate. Thanks for watching.
