Use QR Codes on a Daily Plan

Welcome to InEight Progress.

In this video, you'll learn how to use QR codes in the Progress mobile app.

If your organization uses QR codes on-site, you can use the Progress app on your iPad or iPhone to quickly load resources into your daily plan.

Prepare a QR code

To prepare a QR code for use on-site, use the unique identifier associated with the task or resource.

For employees, equipment, and vendors, use the ID.

For tasks, use the WBS phase code.

Add resources with a QR code

Once you have a QR code prepared, open the Timesheet tab in the daily plan.

Tap [Add tasks & resources] to add resources to this daily plan.

Tap the QR code icon next to the search bar to open the QR scanner.

Scan your QR code.

The resource now appears as a search result.

Tap the resource to select it.

When you're finished, tap Done.

The resource has now been added to your daily plan.

Note that this feature is available in the planning, execution, or awaiting approval stages.
