TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to InEight Progress.

In this video, you'll learn how to manage time cards in Weekly Time Sheet.

In the InEight Progress applications, work hours are reported through daily plans, or through Weekly Time Sheet.

Weekly Time Sheet is a convenient option for workers who are utilized across projects, such as a QC inspector or survey crew.

These team members can report their time through personal entries and manage their own time cards.

By default, Weekly Time Sheet opens to the current week of your personal time sheet.

Here you'll see the blocks organized by employee, allowances, and equipment.

To add work hours, click here.

Select the project and reason codes, then click Add.

Now you'll see a new row on the time sheet.

From the Task ID drop down, select the correct task.

Then, add the hours worked each day.

Note that hour type is linked to the reason code you selected.

If the employee worked on different tasks during the week, create a new row and select the appropriate task, This allows the employee to receive the correct rate of pay for their work.

If you have allowances or extra pay set up in project settings, you can add those here.

Allowances will be applied for the entire workday.

If the employee operated equipment, add those hours in the equipment block.

If this employee has hours reported from a daily plan, those will appear on their Time sheet in green.

You can edit these hours or open the daily plan to see more details.

Note that unsaved changes on the Time sheet will be indicated by blue dots.

Once all hours have been added and checked, click Save on the menu bar.

You can click here to see time sheets from other weeks.

And to save time, you can copy over time cards from the previous week.

Note that if you have already entered time cards for this week, this feature won't be available.

If you are managing additional team members, you can view their time sheets from the left panel.

To add a new team member, click here.

This will bring up a list of employees currently associated to your project.

After changes have been made and saved for all team members, click Submit all hours.

The time cards will be sent to Time Center for final review or to your ERP system.

Now you've learned how to manage time cards in Weekly Time Sheet.
