Removed option to add new workspaces - Because a workspace is automatically added and linked to the project when a new project is created in InEight Platform, the option Add new project workspace has been removed from the Add menu on the projects list page.

SIP view multi-select steps and Snap To function – In SIP view, a new icon and function was added that lets you select multiple SIP steps in an activity and move them horizontally to a new date on the timeline. Previously, to move steps you would have to move each step individually. For more information, see SIP General Navigation.

Grouping, sorting, and filtering new behavior in views – When you group, sort, or filter in either Plan view, Markup view, or Schedule Review view, those changes in the views are now retained even when you leave a page, and then return to the page later. Previously, if you applied any grouping, sorting, or filtering in your views the configuration would revert to the default configuration once you left the page.
Drag and drop multiple activities to a new WBS – In Plan view, you can now select multiple activity types to move, and then click to drag them into a different area in the WBS.

Linked workspaces to new InEight Platform projects - When a new project is created in Platform, a workspace in Schedule is automatically added and linked to the project, instead of having to add it manually. For more information, see Project List View.

Multi-select activities in Plan view – In Plan view, you can now select multiple activity types that you want to copy, cut, or delete in the schedule. Select multiple activities, and then either select from the Actions menu or use the standard shortcut keys on the keyboard to perform the action.

Schedule and InEight Estimate integration - Integration between Schedule and Estimate products lets you import and synchronize Estimate cost items into a schedule as WBS or Activities. The schedule can then be updated, and the resulting updated WBS and Activities can be synchronized back into Estimate providing updated dates.

Sync user admin permissions – When a user in the InEight cloud platform has their permissions updated or a new role is added with administrator permissions (Level 2 or Level 3), then the Administrator permissions are automatically assigned to the corresponding Schedule user.
Session timeout – Schedule now complies with the session timeout setting that is configured in InEight cloud platform organization > Settings > General > Global Options. When the Session timeout toggle is set to ON, users are automatically signed out when the specified time is exceeded. By default, the Session timeout toggle is set to OFF.
InEight Plan Advanced Work Package data sharing – The availability of AWP data from Plan is now determined by the Advanced work and scheduling features toggle in InEight cloud platform > project > Settings > General > Global Options. You must verify the toggle is set to ON for any existing projects using the AWP feature to ensure continued operation with Schedule. By default, the Advanced work and scheduling features toggle is set to OFF.

Plan view Microsoft Excel template – The Plan view import and export Excel template now includes a new Planning Packages tab.

Critical % column – In Schedule Review, you can now visualize how often activities are critical during risk simulation. This enhancement lets you quickly identify WBS and activities that are most often modeled on the critical path in simulations based not only on CPM scheduling but uncertainty and risk input to a schedule.

Critical activities – Functionality has been added that lets you specify activities and milestones that are critical. In the Settings dialog box, enter a value in the Critical Activities Contain Total Float Less Than or Equal To field to show critical activities in red.
Resource allocation limit – You can now add a resource limit line to track over/under allocation on the histogram.

Project configuration resource color assignment – This feature adds a column that shows the selected color for the project configuration resource. It also lets you adjust the resource color as needed.
Knowledge library resource color assignment – When you import a resource from the Knowledge Library, that resource comes into the project with a color assigned to it. You can also adjust the color in the Project Configuration Resource table.
Excel import and export function – You can now export a Microsoft Excel worksheet that provides a template to make small- or large-scale changes to your WBS, Activities, Logic, Codes, UDFs, and Resource Assignments.

Short Interval Planning filter updates – The SIP filter has been simplified to show what is present in the Plan view. You can now filter to Activities, Resources, and Steps.

Renaming Execute to Short Interval Planning – When you want to navigate to the Short Interval Planning page, the selection of Execute has been removed from the primary navigation drop-down menu in the Plan view. Execute has been renamed to Short Interval Planning. Only users who have the Permissions for Scheduler or higher might notice this change. Any other user who has been assigned Short Interval Planner permissions is not affected by this change.
SIP Resources – In the Project Configuration page, the tab SIP Resources lets you view this page view, add, and edit SIP resources that are used in Short Interval Planning if you have permission. Updating or deleting a SIP resource affects the steps the resources are assigned.
Signal R – You can now see other active users working in the Short Interval Planning view. When you click on the one active user drop-down list, the name of the additional active user shows. While you work in the SIP view, if another user makes a change or an update, the Refresh SIP data button starts to pulse. You must select Refresh SIP data to refresh your view and stay updated with the most current data.
SIP sticky note functionality – You can now move a single sticky note using the drag and drop function or a group of sticky notes when holding down the left mouse button. You can now add sticky notes by pressing the plus sign that is shown when you hover over an open day. You can also delete sticky notes by selecting the x that appears in the upper right corner of a sticky note when you hover over it.
Short Interval Planning export – When you export your SIP schedule, the current views, filters, and annotations are also exported. You can also see all the nodes expanded in the export.
Common navigation – The common navigation used across all InEight cloud platform applications has been enhanced for ease of use. For more details, refer to InEight Platform release notes.
Resources – There is now a distinction between the project resource list and the global resource list in Schedule.
