Control 24.7 Release Notes

  • User defined fields (UDF) in Cost item Actuals details – The Actual details > Claim actuals slide-out panel in the CBS now has six new user defined fields for quantities, both man and equipment hours, and cost. ClosedRead more

The first two UDF fields are date specific fields. These can be used as start and end dates for the claimed quantity, instead of solely relying on the Posted date field for the one claimed quantity date transaction.

The other four UDF fields are free text fields, which can be used for any variable attributes, such as defining the claimed work area location.

These new UDF fields also have custom labels so you can rename them as needed.

A new Estimate Resources field has been added that lets you select a resource from a list, such as installed material or labor resource to log against an actuals transaction.

The new UDFs can also be viewed in Actuals history.

If multiple quantities are claimed, the new UDFs also show in the Claim multiple CBS quantities dialog and subsequently in Actuals history.

The new UDFs have also been added to the CBS Excel import as mapped fields.

For more information, see the new User-defined fields topic.

  • Limits on cost items and pay items in change orders and budget moves – The new limit supports consistency when creating, changing, and approving budget moves or contract adjustments, reducing the risk of partial approvals and failures. ClosedRead more

If an attempt is made to add more than 250 cost items or 100 pay items, the Add button on the budget move and contract adjustment form is disabled. The Submit button on the approval form is also disabled if either one of these conditions is met. A message now shows on both forms that lets you know a maximum number of cost and pay items has been reached.
