Welcome to an InEight Control In this video, we'll show you how to log revenue from a client that has been received from an outstanding bill.

In control, navigate to the pay items tab.

Click on the claim revenue icon, On the resulting actuals revenue details window, we'll see all transactions for the project pay items that contain billed revenue that has not been logged as receive.

To see information for just a particular pay item, select the pay items, then right click and select actual revenue details.

Selecting actual revenue details shows billed transactions for just the pay items you selected.

Within actual revenue details, locate the revenue received column.

This is where you can enter the amount of money received by a client for an outstanding bill.

In the revenue received date field, you can enter the date the money is received.

To track and log multiple build transactions, you can select all.

Click on the claim revenue icon, While some of the build transactions, Then click the auto calculate icon.

This allows you to efficiently track revenue you received across multiple pay items without having to manually enter them one by one.

Click yes.

A prompt appears, letting you know revenue received will automatically calculate based on your billed revenue values.

Back on the pay items register, you can see our updated revenue by clicking on a pay item and selecting build revenue details.

Under build history, we can see the revenue received for each transaction and the date received.

Your revenue related columns provide you the information needed to reconcile outstanding bills with the revenue received to date.
