Welcome to InEight Control. This video demonstrates how to import actuals by syncing with other systems. Using the Sync feature, you can import actual quantities from InEight plan and import actual costs and man hours from your E R P system on the Control Workspaces page. To import actual quantities from InEight Plan, select actions sync get quantities.

Note that there are two options for importing quantities through previous pay period and job to date, selecting through the previous pay period will import quantities claimed on or before the last pay period's end date. Selecting job to date will bring in quantity entries up through the current date. A message appears showing the process has been initiated. Man hours can be captured InEight progress or plan via daily time sheets, then sent to your E R P system for approval.

Once approved, you can input them into control for tracking purposes, along with their associated costs to import actual costs and man hours. From your E R P system, select actions sync, get actual costs, and man hours. A message appears showing the import is underway. To check the progress of the import syncs that you initiated, click on the audit log tab And select integration.

The log indicates what was synced and the sync status when it was initiated and who initiated it. If there's an issue with the sync not going through, you can click on the link under processing details to see more details on what step it is on in the process. You can also click on the log handle link to access technical information that you can forward to product support to troubleshoot the issue. Well.
