TRANSCRIPT

In this video, you'll learn how to set up and lock the pay items your project.

During job startup, when conforming your project for execution, you can import new pay items for bulk upload from an spreadsheet.

Browse are drag and drop in Excel spreadsheet to upload and make sure new import is selected.

Once uploaded, you can select the columns you'd like to see.

Uploading a list of pay items provides a faster way to bring in pay items when the budget is not locked.

You can create the schedule of values or pay items to bill the client and then lock them in place prior to execution, so you can track any project pricing changes Since my project is not yet underway, notice my pricing is unlocked.

That allows me to add my pay items.

I enter my pay item details, and my pay item is added with a current price and quantity.

With my pay items in place, I'm ready to lock in my pricing so we can start project execution.

I click Now, my pricing is locked in as the original pricing for the project.

Note that if I'm not ready to lock the entire pay item list, I can select specific pay items and from the actions menu lock or unlock them individually as needed.

Moving forward, any pay item edits or additions will be considered a contract change and need to be done through a contract adjustment.

Well, That covers setting up and locking your pay items. Thanks for watching.
