When forecasting, you may need to set aside the built in forecasting methods and enter your total or remaining forecast values manually.
When doing manual forecasting, it's important to remember estimate at completion equals forecast total cost and forecast total man hours.
And estimate to completion equals forecast remaining cost and forecast remaining man hours.
In other words, your forecast total cost and man hours include your as built costs so far, plus your prediction of the work remaining.
And your forecast remaining costs and hours do not include your as-built costs far.
Those values only include your prediction of the remaining cost and hours.
To enter a forecast change manually, double click in the appropriate forecasting field and change the value.
Note that you'll forecast total costs has changed along with your forecast total unit costs.
