In this video, you'll learn how to set up a project level shared forecast.
During a project,
you can share your forecast with multiple team members to save time and
provide visibility.
The process of sharing your forecast will provide the ability to collaborate
in real time and broadcast updates to all users on the project.
So let's start with reviewing project level forecast.
So you can see the shared secondary forecast data block.
Notice there's an option in the dropdown menu for sharing.
I can provide a name for my forecast by typing into the field for forecast name.
So the information shared on the forecast is public to everyone on the project
with the correct permissions to view it.
Note that you're allowed up to five shared forecasts.
To modify the forecast information visible to members on the project,
select the shared icon and label on the dropdown menu.
A new window will open to manage access for users.
Select the option to change permissions to private to remove access
or select the option back to be shared.
Note that you'll still have the option to send a copy of the forecast when you
want to send a forecast to someone privately. Once the project group
has finished collaborating,
the shared forecast can push the values to the live forecast option.
If you make an error,
you can adjust the live forecast by simply selecting the refresh from live
option from the project shared dropdown menu.
Well that covers setting up a project shared forecast. Thanks for watching.
