Updated notes tab on iPad – The layout of the Notes section on the iPad has been updated to be consistent with the layout of the iPhone. Improvements include a new photo count that lists how many photos are in a plan so you can easily see the photo limit. There is also a new swipe to delete option, and the control options have been moved to the upper right corner to be consistent with the other sections in the app.

Updates to Settings Interface on iPad – The Settings Interface was enhanced to match the app’s new color scheme and to also match the iPhone settings slide-out panel.

Clear local database on iPads – You can now clear or refresh the local database from the app settings without having to uninstall and reinstall the application. This is used to clear out data for the entire application or on a single daily plan. Local, un-synced, changes are not restored.
Auto-Include for components – You can now pull components into a daily plan as tasks are selected. When you have a single component on a WBS or task, which has been previously used in Progress, adding the same WBS on a plan auto selects the component.
Upload photo attachment sync – When syncing data, failed photo uploads due to connection issues no longer result in a failed sync. The number of photos to be uploaded from the iPad/iPhone shows near the sync icon.

Job title column – A new Job title column has been added to the Time Center grid that lets you filter project employees by job title. For more information, see Time Center Navigation.
Copy break and shift details – When copying break and shifts, the resource hours are now copied to the break and shift details in the new plan. For more information, see Daily Plan from Copy.
iPad UI updates – The iPad app has been updated to match the latest iPhone app interface for a more consistent experience. Changes to colors and screen alignments were made, but functionality remains the same.
Quantity tab alignment on iPad – To improve the readability, enhancements were made to the Quantity tab to show text related fields on the left side of the screen and number related fields on the right side of the screen.

Time Center
Specific time entry – Hours can now be tracked with two places after the decimal and are no longer restricted to the quarter-hour. To enable specific time entry, the Enforce 15 minute time entry setting in the Progress organization settings must be set to off . This change will facilitate time entry down to the minute. For more information, see Organizational settings.
In Progress category in the Time Center side panel – A new In Progress category was added to the side panel in Time Center. Previously the not sent category included time cards that were not sent along with those in the processing status. The new category can help you to quickly determine which time cards need to be posted to your external payroll solution. For more information, see Time Center Navigation
Multi select enabled – You can now select multiple items in Time Center by holding the Shift key while making a group selection. Previously, the only options were individual selections or select all.
Remove shared queries – You can now remove shared queries. When granted level 2 or 3 permission and the Removed shared queries permission is enabled, a user can unshare a shared query, removing from the shared list for all users. For more information, see Time Center Navigation.

Increased hour validation – The Flag hours as exception on the employee review screen when they are above this value setting is now used to highlight employees when more than expected hours are included in the specific daily plan. For more information, see "Organization settings"
Show all Employee hours – The Daily Plan review has been updated to show all employee hours. The Daily Plan Review now shows all data for any projects the logged-in user has access to allowing for review across multiple projects. For more information, see Employee Register
Disabled PIN Sign Out – If a PIN has not been configured for an employee, the option to enter a PIN at sign-out is now disabled, and a signature is required. For more information, see Input Actuals
View plans for all projects – A drop-down option was added to view Plans for All Projects. The View plans for all projects option lets you review multiple projects in Daily Plan Review. For more information, see Employee Register
Images posted to Document gallery (Web only) – Photos attached to daily plans are now visible in the Document application (if configured) and in the existing sources.
Default allowances – You can configure an employee so that allowances are automatically associated when added to a daily plan. This is done through the Project assigned Payroll indicators.
Operational work order entry – For reason code-based projects, you can now enter a custom work order with time collection. This data is made available to Time Center through external APIs.
Contract data filtered – When you view the contract data in Progress only values with the same vendor associated with the account are shown.

Copy planned quantities – When making a copy of a plan with planned quantities, the planned values now are copied if the components are selected. Previously, this feature was only available on the web and it is now included in the iPad or iPhone app. For more information, see Daily Plan from Copy
Ability to send field issues before plan approval – iPad now supports publishing a field issue logged in the app before daily plan approval. Previously, this feature was only available on the web.
Shared Views – Views can now be shared with users and roles. Role recipients require Time Center access. For more information, see Time Center Navigation
Default allowances – You can configure an employee so that allowances are automatically associated when added to a daily plan. This is done through the Project assigned Payroll indicators.
Added fields to query builder – The Created by and Project display fields have been added to the query builder.
Operational work order entry – For reason code-based projects, you can now enter a custom work order with time collection in the Time sheet tab. You can create and edit this information through Daily Plan and Time Center and it's been added to the Progress external APIs.
Predefined date ranges update – The predefined date range values have been revised to use the organization fiscal calendar weekend day for week-based ranges.
Weekly time sheet access – Weekly time sheet access has been moved to the account level from the project level. This move better reflects the cross-project functionality of the application. Users must have a role assigned with organizational permissions; an existing default role mapped to the organization is acceptable.
Hours without Cost code – A new option was added in the organization settings to control whether users are allowed to save hours without selecting the task in the Weekly time sheet first. For more information, see Organization settings

Time configuration settings – Time Center was updated to provide more visibility at the account and project levels. New toggles were added under the Daily Planning settings to Display Employee and Equipment Billing Class and to Enable Time Center.
Filter approver – The Approver and Executor columns in Daily Plan can now be filtered.
Payroll indicator data – The Allowance, Employee premiums, and Attendance types payroll indicator must now be created in Master data libraries and are no longer available in Progress. To configure payroll indicators in a project, go to Project Settings > Assigned payroll indicators. When the Auto Opt-In is enabled (set to true), every employee is eligible for allowance. When the field is disabled (set to false) you must add specific employees for allowance and define allowance values. For Release 23.10 employees will need to be associated to the allowance through the Plan UnionPayrollIndiator API. The Status field is not utilized in this release.

Send issues to Change – You can now send an issue to Ineight Change before the daily plan is approved which lets you access issues earlier. Previously, any issues created in the Daily Plan would be sent when the plan was approved.
Link External URLs – You can now upload external URL links when attaching files. For more information, see Attachments on the Web
Copy planned quantities – Planned quantities now copy over when copying daily plans. For more information, see Daily Plan from Copy
Time center calendar range – You now have the option to select a custom date range or from a predefined calendar with a list of values based on business processes. For more information, see Time Center Navigation
Multiple billing classes – (mobile) You can now have multiple rate codes and Billing classes on a single Daily Plan without overriding the current billing class.

Clear all filters (web only) – A button has been added so you can clear all filters at once. Previously, you had to individually clear filters on each row.

Apply to selected equipment (mobile only) – You can now select a group of equipment on a daily plan and assign hours. This functionality was previously available only for employees.

Sort alphabetically (web and mobile) – A button has been added to automatically sort resources alphabetically, with employees first and equipment second. Previously, resources were arranged in the Time sheet tab in the order in which they were assigned, or you could manually reorder the list.

Favorite component indicator – A favorite icon has been associated with the component in the Quantities section of a Daily Plan. When selected, these components move to the top of the list, eliminating time wasted scrolling through a long list of items.

Planned and claimed task and component indicator - An icon now appears in the Quantities tab of a daily plan when a task or component is planned or claimed. The icon surfaces against the WBS and against the component. This eliminates time wasted scrolling through a long list of tasks and components, giving you a visual indicator of what is planned and installed.

Work Package link in Daily Plan – The IWP document generated in Plan and sent to InEight Document is now linked in an associated Daily Plan. This change makes Work Package details available to field personnel.
