Use Case

As the bid process is wrapped up, the contract manager creates a detailed contract record for each subcontractor in InEight Contract, outlining their responsibilities and scopes of work.

In InEight Contract, once you’ve gone through the bid selection process, you can create contract records to capture contract details.

You can create a contract in two different ways:

Convert a bid package to a contract

Create a contract from scratch using the Contracts page

  • Use existing information from the bid package without having to enter it again

  • Updates to the original bid package do not produce updates in the contract
  • Good for smaller scopes of work that do not require a bid package
