A project team is organizing work for the construction of a new commercial building that will require multiple subcontractors and vendors. The team starts by using InEight Explore to review the past performance of potential subcontractors who have worked on similar projects, focusing on their ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
Without the right information, a subcontractor or vendor can be selected that has a record of low performance on previous projects.
Using the InEight Explore module, you can run dashboards to review your subcontractors’ past performance in areas like safety, quality, change orders, and schedule to ensure you select a reliable 3rd party.
For example, InEight Explore comes with a Contract dashboard, which includes analysis of change order history across projects. Note this particular dashboard reports on number of change orders per vendor along with change order details (e.g., how long each change order has been open and the change order amount).
