Create Schedule of Value Items

Use Case

The contract manager needs to track progress on certain contract line items at a more detailed level, so he creates schedule of value items, detailing the breakdown of quantities and costs.


As you work on a contract, you often need to divide a cost item into manageable and quantifiable parts, so they are easy to track.   The schedule of values lets you see the installed or completed breakdown for each line item. You can also use the totals to reconcile a vendor invoice with the contract line items.

Schedule of Value items start as contract line items in InEight Contract.

They are then broken down into more detailed schedule of value items.

These items can be claimed directly in InEight Contract or tracked in the field using InEight Plan or Progress.
