Model and InEight Estimate DTO integration– You can now sum DTO object quantities and sync with Estimate at the parent level. Previously, you could only sum object quantities at the child level. Read more
InEight Estimate user defined field integration with Model – When you send CBS items from Estimate to Model, you can now use the User Defined 11 field as a UoM tag in all levels of the CBS structure and integrate with the Quantity Type Tag name in the DTO’s Action tab in Model. You do not have to select the UoM drop-down list to select from it. Read more
AWP component claiming integration with InEight Plan – You can now perform component claiming for AWP and then sync changes with Plan. Read more
Manage tags from the Tags panel – You can now create new tags using the Add new tag icon and manage existing tags in the Tags panel. Read more

Issue manager Feed tab search – The search is no longer case sensitive to broaden your search results. For more information about managing issues, see Create and Manage Coordination Issues.
Zoom to mouse cursor option – The mouse cursor must now be inside the model geometry to use the zoom-to-cursor option. Previously, zoom-to-cursor was available when the mouse cursor was outside the model geometry, which caused it to zoom away to a blank space. For more information, see Navigation controls in Navigation.
Clash Manager Measurements option – You can now use measurements in clashes to provide measurement adjustments in clashes when needed. Read more
Issue Manager filter – To improve application performance, you can now set your filter criteria, and then click Apply to get your results. Previously, it was a live filter that provided dynamic results when selecting your criteria. Read more
Box sectioning behavior – In View > Sectioning, when you set section boxes in your model, and then move them to shrink the model in any direction, the boxes planes no longer move through the opposite plane extremity and inverting. Previously, the boxes inverted and caused you to be in an unstable state in the model. Read more
Selection Information panel organization – The Selection Information panel has been split into three tabs to organize object data and make it easily accessible in the field. Previously, all the information was shown on one panel. Read more

AWP Claiming tab – In the AWP panel, a new Claiming tab has been added that synchronizes claiming schemes from InEight Plan with Model. Read more
Issue manager enhancements – You can now double-click an issue on the Issue Manager panel to open and edit the issue. New fields for title and description and a Feed section have also been added. Read more
New Model installations default cache path – The default cache location for any new installations is now %localappdata%/InEight/Model/Cache. Existing installations that have their cache location path in My Documents or user Documents directories will be moved to the new default location. Other existing cache locations will not be moved. Switching to the new default path is highly recommended. For more information, see Model cache
Default graphic card – Default graphics configuration on Windows devices that contain multiple GPUs (integrated and dedicated) now auto-assign the Integrated Graphics to the Model.exe task when the application is started.

Model to InEight Estimate integration has been enhanced – The integration between Model and Estimate has been enhanced to better align the dynamic nature of creating and modifying the estimate structure. This provides a deeper integration with the Estimate CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure).
Tag inheritance and tag performance has been improved – The tag inheritance and tag assignment process has been streamlined. This provides a better experience and aligns with user expectations. Tagging items from the Tag window, the DTO panel, or the objects panels for both parent and child objects has been unified across the platform. Similar changes have been made across the Tag view in the selection information. Additionally, the tag assignment speeds have been improved.
Navisworks export grids – You can now export grid lines from Navisworks projects. If grids are part of the Navisworks project, they can be included in the export process and enable or disable grids when you export.
Tag alias name enhancements – You can now apply tag alias names to tag names and property names. When you apply a tag alias name, it applies to both tags and object properties. When you use tag alias names, you can easily achieve consistency when pulling geometry and metadata from files authored by various organizations that use different values for the same data.

Model CBS code association with InEight Estimate – The GUID associated with the CBS codes pushed from Estimate is now tracked by Model. As CBS code positions are updated, Model now keeps the association with the CBS codes. Model also reflects any updates to the CBS, such as numbers and descriptions on subsequent pushes from Estimate.
BCF import and export – Performance enhancements have been made to the import and export process of the BCF.

User experience enhancements – Enhancements to the UI include adding search and filtering capabilities to the Model Stream and the Project Structure dialog box, adjusting the forward and backward walk thresholds, and adding grips to section planes.
InEight rebranding – References to VEO and M-SIX have been changed to show the InEight brand. All references to the Viewer have changed to Model.
Admin Tools is a new configuration application for InEight Completions and Model. With every release, more valuable features will be added, with the goal of providing administrators with a complete configurations tool kit.
With this first release, Account Administrators can now independently create new projects by duplicating existing project configurations. As an alternative to the role assignment using the Excel Plugin, Project Administrators can now use Admin Tools to assign specific roles to groups. Review Admin Tools training material for more details.
Configuration – You can now assign roles and user accounts using the Admin Tool Configuration function.
User Account Management – You can now manage user accounts through the Users & Groups tab and the Project Permissions tab of the User Account Management Configuration page. Read more

Duplicate a project – You can now create a new project by duplicating an existing project and adjusting certain project configuration. Read more
